Flooring Installation

Flooring Installation

New floors change a room faster than almost any other upgrade — but a floor is only as good as the subfloor and prep underneath it. We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, and tile flooring the right way: the subfloor flattened and sound, the layout planned so seams and cuts land where they should, and every transition and baseboard finished clean. The result is a floor that sits flat, feels solid underfoot, and holds up for years.

Old floor removal & haul-away

We tear out and dispose of old carpet, tile, or flooring and leave the space clean and ready to live in.

A floor is only as good as what's under it.

Most flooring problems — squeaks, gaps, popping planks, cracked grout — trace back to the subfloor, not the flooring itself. Skip the prep and even premium material fails early. We start by making the subfloor flat, dry, and solid, then plan the layout so the floor runs square to the room and cuts fall where they belong. That groundwork is why our floors stay tight and quiet long after installation day.

Questions, answered

Which flooring should I choose — hardwood, LVP, or tile?
It depends on the room and how you live. Hardwood is the classic, value-adding choice for living areas and bedrooms. Luxury vinyl plank is waterproof and extremely durable, which makes it ideal for basements, kitchens, and homes with kids or pets. Tile is the go-to for bathrooms, entryways, and anywhere that sees water. During your free consultation we'll walk through the trade-offs for your specific rooms and budget.
Can you install new flooring over my existing floor?
Sometimes — certain floors can go over existing surfaces if they're flat, sound, and dry, which saves on demolition. But if the existing floor or subfloor is uneven, damaged, or squeaky, installing over it just carries those problems into the new floor. We assess honestly and only recommend a floating install when it won't compromise the result.
Do you fix the subfloor if it's damaged?
Yes. Subfloor prep is part of doing the job right. We flatten high and low spots, secure loose or squeaky sections, and repair water-damaged or rotted areas before any new flooring goes down. This is the step that separates a floor that stays tight for years from one that fails early.
How long does a flooring project take?
Most single rooms take one to three days depending on the material and the amount of subfloor prep and old-floor removal. Tile takes a bit longer because of set and grout cure times, and whole-home installs run longer. We give you a realistic schedule up front and keep the work area contained and clean.
Is the flooring installation warrantied?
Yes — our installation workmanship is covered by our 1-year workmanship warranty, so if something related to how we installed the floor isn't right, we make it right. The flooring material itself carries its own manufacturer warranty, and normal wear, scratches, dents, and moisture damage from spills or leaks aren't covered by the workmanship warranty. Full terms are included in your signed agreement.
